Well, I'll be seeing GST Cardinals on the 18th and You Animals on the 25th so I don't know if I can squeeze another gig in, even though I want to. I'll be on my own as well, my friend is away so she can't come, and Ruth will be in Leeds then.

Dom has left the band and the new drummer is called James. I'll tell you more after Tuesday when I'm seeing them.

The MySpace has simply listed the new member and one of their twitter posts said that Fibbers was James' first gig. Sent a message, and according to Dom, he simply wasn't enjoying being in the band any more. Apparently there are no hard feelings...  James is a good drummer and the difference wasn't noticeable - but then I'm not a drummer so wouldn't know anyway. However the set at Oporto was great despite the muted atmosphere. Spoke to both Rory and Owen briefly after the set and they had felt nobody enjoyed the gig it was so quiet. I loved it. Hearing Swan song and Inkjet Lakes live was a real treat and their new song Double Negative is superb.

It'll be strange seeing them live without Dom but I'm glad they're still together.

According to The Royal's gig list (Derby) Gramamtics are playing on December 19th. I'm heavily involved at Church the morning after (2 hours drive away) so won't be able to make it which is a shame.

Just to say that now Emilia has left the band... but they have a new Cellinst and will be touring this December.
Check out their myspace for the announcement from Owen.
